Tell it like it is

Diet Rite is a surprisingly frank name for a diet product, a direct allusion to the fact that diets are a form of religion. And yet, because of the popularity of brand names that contain typos (e.g., Kool-Aid, Scotch-Brite), one will initially overlook this obvious connection and instead interpret Diet Rite as slang for 'Diet Right'.

On another note, the aesthetic of Diet Rite cherry cola personally brings to mind images of futurism and space travel. When I drink it I can't help but imagine that I'm in astronaut gear, which, ironically, makes one look fat.
