A middle-aged man got on the bus wearing long earrings made of wire; from the left ear dangled a plastic green turtle and from the right an orange crab. As soon as he sat down he initiated a conversation with two Chinese girls and asked them questions about China. I concluded that he was a creep. One might say I am "street smart."
